Cannot update Rescue Media
Since I updated to the latest build of Acronis 2019 (14110), the Rescue Media requires an update but fails continually because it says it cannot lock the partition because it is in use by another process.
How do I fix this?

The locking is described as being caused by the disk being used by another process - which usually is not the case. My recollection is that you use dickpart to cleanup the disk partition. Enchantech will be able to provide the full story on how to fix the problem.
I would like to be able to get a solution. Who is Enchantech and how do I contact him?

Enchantech is one of the (volunteer) Acronis MVP. I tried to find the post where he described the process but the 2019 beta forum seems to no longer be available. I also looked through the ATI 2019 forum buy could not find the discussion of the issue that I am sure is there somewhere. I suggest sending a PM (click here) with a link to this thread.

Jenee, one point that I remember with 'locked' disks was that a restart into Windows Safe Mode was used which helped to release the locks, but this was for an OS drive when doing a recovery, not when updating a Survival Kit.
Can you post a screen image of your Survival Kit drive as shown in Windows Disk Management or when looking at it using a partition manager tool such as the free MiniTool Partition Wizard
This would help us better understand what you have here.
Another point: you can assign a drive letter to the 2GB FAT32 partition on the Survival Kit drive then use the Acronis Rescue Media program to write to that drive letter and create the Rescue Media on the drive. I have used this method myself albeit I use the MVP Custom ATIPE builder tool to make the customised WinPE media that I use.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am actually about to travel overseas so won’t get back to my computer for a couple of weeks. Will follow up then.
