Can't install Acronis True Image 2019

Thread needs solution

Hi everyone. I've recently bought this program. I also have Acronis True Image 2013, 2016, 2018. I've never had such problems during installation these products. My config is Windows 10 x64. Acronis True Image 2019 build 13660. I tried to install Full version and Web version.Screenshot (4).png

I do not recall seeing this happen. What I suggest you do is to log into you Acronis Account and download the installation file (select the full version not the web version). Once it has downloaded select the file and the "run as administrator"

Hope this solves your problem.

Ruslan, welcome to these User Forums.

There have been a number of reports of problems installing ATI 2019 on Windows 10 with a variety of causes.

See forum topic: True Image 2019 Installation failed

See KB 46710: Acronis True Image: Installation Fails in Windows

I've tried to install full version many times. Nothing happens. I've successfully installed ATI 2018 again without any problems at all.

Afraid I am out of idea. Not sure if it is worth the effort of trying to upgrade the working ATI 2018 installation to 2019, as you have probably already tried this at least once.

If you have not already done so provide feedback outlining the problems you are having with the installation. The more people who notify Acronis of such problems the more likely it is to be attended to.

It is possible that the problem is related to Windows Defender/Device Security/Core Isolation; there is a post in the ATI 2017 part of the forum where it was found to be the cause of installation issues (see the last two posts of this thread).

I have had very strong warnings not to run or install this software on windows 10 64bit. I already run Seagate disk wizard without any problems. This is a shame as I think it would be a great help to have it. Why is it not approved by Microsoft?

Michael, welcome to these public User Forums.

There should be no compatibility issues or warnings when installing ATI 2019 on any Windows 10 computer unless you have downloaded a 'suspect' copy of the software from an untrusted source!

I have been running ATI 2019 on Windows 10 since it was first released to Beta testers and have never seen such a warning, and I continue to run it on both the latest Windows 10 #1809 public build and also on Windows 10 Insiders #18329 build - all with no issues.

The last time I saw a Microsoft compatibility warning was for ATI 2014 which was not tested by Acronis for use with Windows 10 (but which does work if is installed).

Hello Michael,

Could you show some screenshot of where you see warnings?

We did not receive any reports about this.

I bought and downloaded it from Acronis then tried to install it. At this point windows defender said program not approved, I carried on then it said it would damage my computer also a large X came up on the bottom of the screen. I stopped install and tried a download/run same thing happened. At this point I wiped the download and asked for a refund.
