Is the Clone job finished or not?

Thread needs solution

I am replacing the hard drive in my computer and ran the CLONE tool.  It took 1.5 hours to clone the drive however, it still shows the following after 7 hours!  It never says COMPLETE.

Timothy, if the clone has been left for an extended period, then it has either finished (and not advised you correctly) or else it has failed (and not told you either!).

Given you are doing the clone from within Windows per your image, then I would recommend shutting down the PC, disconnect the cloned drive, then restart Windows and check that the PC is still able to start up into Windows successfully?

If all looks OK after restarting, then reconnect the cloned drive (via USB?) and take a look at the partitions on that drive using either Windows Disk Management or a partition tool.

Check that the cloned drive looks to be very similar in layout and for the attributes of partitions to those on the original source drive used for the clone.

If all looks good still, then shutdown the PC, remove the source drive and replace by the cloned one, leaving the original drive disconnected, and then test whether the PC will boot into Windows correctly from the new drive?

I did see that exact behavior in one of my test and the clone was indeed finished and booted successfully.
