Thread needs solution

I have a friend who said she stopped getting notification of the successful completion of a back up on 7 computers.  I started thinking and I was not getting them either, on two different computers.  Upon looking the email notification on my and my wife's computer both stopped around last November.  The email option was totally disabled.  My computer was still backing up but I had over 15 chains.  My wife's computer was reset to manual backup.  Both had validation disabled.  I fixed my computer yesterday and fixed my wife's computer this morning.  My friend has 7 computers in her network.  I will go look at her computers to see if they stopped working last November, and if not November, when?  This may have been in the timeframe when Microsoft released build 1909.  I do not know what build my friend has.

There was a widespread issue that started back in October last year and continued into November where an update to the Acronis Dashboard servers caused user backup task configurations to be reset, which in turn turned off email notifications and automatic cleanup.

Unfortunately, the only option for resolving the issue for users is to reconfigure their backup settings again.
