Delete of inactive BackUp's is blocked

Thread needs solution

We tested BachUp to Cloud. This was not successfully, so we changed the software to classical BackUps on a HD.

So we see now 3 Icons for BackUps to Cloud, which are not removeable. The "Delete..." is greyd out.

Joseph, welcome to these public User Forums.

I would suggest trying the following steps:

  1. Turn off Acronis Active Protection (AAP) in the Acronis GUI if enabled.
  2. Close the Acronis GUI application if it is open.
  3. In Explorer, go to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
  4. Open each .tib.tis file shown there in Notepad or other editor.
  5. Delete any .tib.tis file that shows the name of your unwanted Cloud backup task.
  6. In Explorer, go to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackup
  7. Delete the contents of this folder

Finally, restart your computer then relaunch the Acronis GUI to see if your cloud tasks are gone and turn AAP back on if being used.
