I have tried two different versions so far, 2016 and 2021 on a dell server R630. I tried different BIOs boot, BIOS & UEFI.

For 2016, it will load Boot Menu then disappear. For 2021, it will give me option menu. I booted TrueImage 64-bit, it will hang on "Loading".

Will "quiet nomodeset force_modules=usbhid acpi=off noapic" fix tehe issue if add to linux parameter when creating the USB? I will do more test today.

Some initial comments:

When using Acronis bootable rescue media, it is very important to boot the media using the same BIOS boot mode as being used by the PC being backed up or restored.  If you boot a Legacy boot PC in UEFI boot mode for Acronis media, any recovery will migrate the PC from MBR to GPT in line with the boot mode used!

Given that you are working with a Dell server system here, it is probable that you may also be working with RAID drives and in which case, using Linux based Acronis rescue media (as indicated by the linux parameters you are looking at), is an issue as it doesn't have support for RAID and other possible components in use on the server.

The best option is to create Windows PE media for Acronis boot, i.e. using the 'Simple' option for ATI 2021 media builder tool.  This is best done when ATI is installed on the system where it will be used but this brings up a further issue, in that ATI is not intended for use on Server versions of Windows OS other than very old versions.

The ATI 2021 User Guide states the following OS requirements:

Supported operating systems

Acronis True Image 2021 has been tested on the following operating systems.

  • Windows 10 (all editions, including the October 2020 Update)
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 7 SP1 (all editions)
  • Windows Home Server 2011
