Does ATI2019 Suppor StableBits Drivepool?

Thread needs solution

I've been having massive problems trying to backup my drivepool with ATI2019 (latest update) with Windows 10 build 1909, and I'm getting nowhere with this. I wonder if ATI2019 even supports virtual drives at all, since this is what Drivepool is afterall.

I mean ATI2019 will find the drive letter and I can mark the files for backup, but once I start the backup it will just say "calculating remaining time..." forever and nothing happens. If I try to cancel the backup it will say "processing..." also forever, and the only way to break this cycle is completely uninstall the backup software and then delete the scheduled backup from within the website dashboard.

So do I need to upgrade to ATI2020 to get this feature working properly, or does Acronis even support virtual drives like StableBit Drivepool?

Tom, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but I have never heard of StableBit Drivepool until reading your question above, and from the little further reading I have done, I do not believe that Acronis will be able to handle this correctly because of the potential for some of the data to be stored in Cloud locations.

I doubt that upgrading to ATI 2020 will be any different but would suggest that you open a Pre-Sales question with Acronis to ask them directly about this?

You can backup by going to the individual drives in the pool and selecting your files from the PoolPart folders. You can also backup the entire PoolPart folders from the individual drives.

Based on what you said, I didn't try to backup the files from the pooled drive letter.
