Don't accept secon USB HD for image backup

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I bought Acronis True Image 2019 to safe userdata from a fileserver. A job called "daily" works fine the first day on external USB HD.

The second day we use alternating a new external HD (same brand, size etc.) but now True Image 2019 don't accept this second save medium. Next day with the first device everithing is ok again.

Any ideas how I can fix this problem?

To solve this you will need to setup each drive as a different task.  When setting up the task Options - Schedule choose Upon Event - When external device is connected, making sure that the Once a day only box is checked which is default.

This will make the app work in this manner, when you are ready to run the backup at the end of the day, connect the external drive to the machine.  The task set for that drive will run and create the backup to the drive.  Once completed you can eject and remove the drive from the machine.  The next day is the same process however the task setup for the second drive will run when the second drive is connected.
