Exceeded maximum number of activations

Thread needs solution

I have had to move Acronis back and forth from this computer to another a few times. Usually due to the need to restore. That required me to activate again each time I did a restore. I have now exceeded the maximum number of activations. But why because that is the only way the web has told me to move Acronis. I don't want to buy it again so how do I deal with this?

Hi EddyQ,

No need to buy new licenses, just follow https://kb.acronis.com/ati2019/moveactivation to move activations to the new machines\re-activate the software after restore.

If you have reinstalled Windows, or changed hardware of your computer (for example, you might have upgraded motherboard or processor), click I have changed hardware or reinstalled Windows on this computer and choose from the list the same computer by its old name.

Should there be any problem, please let me know.
