Failed recovery boot media

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis for several years, with a new version every year. This is the first time I needed to use it.
I am trying to recover my backup using Acronis 2019
----------
The problem

My computer failed, and I am trying to use the Restore to Another computer option
I created the boot media, however when I boot from this media I get the following error:

"Video mode error 0x1480006 invalid framebuffer parameters
Lineinfo 0xac98503a7af41d1
Module bootwiz-efia64
kernel console may work incorrectly"

After that, nothing

I created the boot media "Universal restore media builder"

Any ideas how to fix this?

John, welcome to these public User Forums.

What version of Windows OS is involved here between your old and new computers?

If it is Windows 10, then you may not need to use Acronis Universal Restore as Windows 10 has much better support for changed hardware.

I would recommend creating and using the Windows PE version of the Acronis Rescue Media for doing this type of recovery / migration.

See the following reference documents.
