Hard Disk Priority

Thread needs solution

Hello,

i hope in an help to resolve my problem. I have two had disks in my PC. One is C: that contains just the Operating system and the other is B: that contains only the programs.

i had to reformat my PC and in the meantime I have updated to the latest Operating System. I have to make a new Acronis  Backup of the two hard disk But I notice difference between the oldest structure of the Hard disks and the new one. Before I had the Hard Disk listed as

first the Hard Disk that contains the Operating System and second the Hard Disk that contains the program now I see them inverted and if I make the backup as it is, when I go to restore it I do not get restored on the correct Hard Disk.

please how can I resolve it?

Thanks

Enzo

Assuming that they are SATA HDD you could try swapping the SATA cables.

However, the UEFI/BIOS often allows you to change the priority of HDDs - the swapping of the HDD probably caused the change in priority.
