How to delete mobile device listing
I created backups for 2 cell phones a few months ago, and now would like to delete them completely from the acronis 2019 backup menu. I can delete or move the created backups via the mobile device menu, but not the mobile device listing. The only options are "move" or "delete", and these pertain only to the actual created backups. Unlike a computer backup, there is no "delete entirely" option that I can find. How can I remove mobile devices from the acronis backup menu (Windows 10)?

Steve, are you saying that you can remove a phone listing from the GUI listing, or just the phone backups? For me, the GUI mobile device delete option only deletes the backups, it does not delete the phone listing from the GUI. I have removed the Acronis app from both phones, selected the GUI mobile device delete option within the Acronis GUI, then powered off & restarted the phones and the laptop. The phones remain listed in the 2019 Mobile Device GUI. I can find no way to remove them from the listing. On the other hand, If I select a backup of "This Computer" files or partitions, the delete function gives me an option of deleting the backups, or the backups and the listing. With the Mobile delete option there is no mention of the removing the "listing" from the GUI. It appears that to remove the phones from the listing I will need to uninstall 2019, perform a clean-up, and re-install.

William, I currently have no mobile phone showing in my ATI 2019 GUI because I did remove this a little while back. I will see if I can add my Samsung phone back again then check the steps I used to remove it last time! I did not need to do a clean install of ATI 2019 to remove the phone for sure!

William, when I click on the Delete option for my Samsung phone in the ATI GUI it removes everything for that backup including the task from the GUI.
If you are not seeing the same end result, then please check that you are using the latest ATI 2019 Build version # 14690 and not an earlier build.

Steve, many thanks for going through the bother of re-connecting your phone to verify that the function works in TI 2019. I was using build 14690, so I uninstalled TI 2019, downloaded it from my Acronis account, and reinstalled. All is well now with my installation. .
