How to install ATI 2020

Thread solved

I have ATI 2019 installed at the moment. I want to install ATI 2020, not an upgrade. I want to know how to install ATI 2020 when I have ATI 2019 at the moment. If I save the settings in ATI 2019, will I be able to retrieve it in ATI 2020, and so keep my backup settings I have made in ATI 2019. Do I need to delete my backups under ATI 2019, or will the new software carry on from where I left off?

C W, you can install ATI 2020 over the top of ATI 2019 and all your current tasks and configuration will be carried forward and continue as before.

New tasks for Disk backup in 2020 now use .tibx backup files rather than .tib used for 2019 & earlier versions.  Files & Folders backup tasks continue the same as before.

See the following KB documents published by Acronis with regards to .tibx files.

Hi Steve.

Which website can I download ATI 2020 (standard) to retain the 2019 settings. How do I download to retain the settings? Please give me a link? When I install ATI 2020 will it automatically uninstall ATI 2019?

If you have bought a license / serial for ATI 2020, then you should register the same to your Acronis Account, then you can download the full installer from the Downloads page of your Acronis Account.

Without a license / serial, any install would be as a 30-day trial version with limitations.

You can download the trial version from the main acronis.com web page after selecting the option for Personal products.  Scroll down the page to where it lists the 3 subscription versions and on the right side you should see:

Click on one of the links under 'Looking for Standard License?' to either Buy or Upgrade
