How to reduce set of files being backed up? True Image 2019

Thread needs solution

Apologies if this has been asked before, but the search field turned up zilch.

Is it possible to edit the set of files-to-backup after the backup scheme has been created and run? I know how to create a scheme, and how to edit the exclusion list, but I can't find out the setting or any documentation on changing the fileset once the backup has been created.

C, welcome to these public User Forums.

Assuming that you are referring to a Files & Folders backup task, then if you want to adjust the files / folders being backed up, click on the Source panel for your task, then deselect any unwanted folders in that way.

Exclusions cannot be used to remove files / folders that have been selected in the Source panel unless excluding by specific file name or wildcard.  Eg. you cannot select to include C:\Temp then set an Exclusion for C:\Temp
