How to restore .tib files with Acronis.

Thread needs solution

How can one get Acronis 2019 to read and restore a .tib backup if the backup name is no longer in Acronis? Hope this is not confusing and thanks for any suggestions.

Bear, if you have any .tib backup files that have no corresponding / matching backup task shown in the main ATI GUI, then you have two options:

You can use the 'Add existing backup' option to re-attach the .tib file with a new task using the same name.  This option is hidden behind the carat 'v' to the right of the normal '+ Add backup' option.

Alternatively, you can double-click on the .tib file in Explorer and browse the contents.
