Interrupted backup not shown in task status

Thread needs solution

A few minutes ago I had to reboot and was notified that and active process had to terminate first.  That usually means that ATI was doing something, so once my PC was back up I checked the status of my backup tasks.  All showed green check marks, but one daily task reported the previous execution was yesterday and the next was tomorrow.  The Activity tab showed nothing for today.

The Log Viewer showed:

Since the task had run for only 25 seconds it obviously did not get very far, but shouldn't there have been some indication of the unsuccessful backup in the ATI GUI?

I wonder if there isn't enough time to register it in the GUI when the system is shutting down.  Essentially, the backup ends and then Windows is going down.

When you stop a backup manually, while Windows is running, it does add it to the activity tab

Also, my backup task loses the green icon when I did this

Hello Patrick,

clarified this scenario with the product team - unfortunately, we won't be able to track this event in the activities, when backup process is interrupted by the OS reboot/crash.

Thank you for checking.

Let's hope nobody has foolishly sets up a scheduled reboot in Task Scheduler and a scheduled backup in ATI for the same time.  They might go a long time without a successful backup.
