Keep getting a "Failed to open data stream" after backup successfully completed

This is very annoying, I tried multiple times with different configurations to get my backup to work over a network drive. After the backup is successfully completed, I get a "failed to open data stream" error. (see screenshot of logs). I'm using Windows 10 Home on my laptop, and Windows 10 Professional on my desktop. I have full administrator privledges on a private home network. Can anyone please help?

Michael, welcome to these public User Forums.

Your log information shows that the backup is being created successfully but that the error message is happening after this, i.e. when preparing to perform the next action which could be either 'Consolidation' (aka automatic cleanup) or Validation (if you have configured the backup to do this automatically after each task).

I would suggest checking your backup task settings to see which action may be involved here?

Also check the files stored on your destination network location as these may also give clues as to whether automatic cleanup should be deleting older files according to the retention settings for your backup scheme.
