New Acronis True Image 2019 looks nice but is far too complicated for .tib restoring to external HDD connected via USB

Thread needs solution

Hello.

Last time when I was using ATI in somewhat 2015, I just installed the software, connected external HDD, selected source (.tib), then destination, and that was it - I had a full restored HDD backup with all partitions ready to use.

Now I am looking at the software and after selecting an existing backup (.tib) I just don't see an option how to restore all the backup contents to external HDD, only to restore my own computer....

Why did the software become so complicated to use? :(

Awful...

Mykolas, welcome to these User Forums.

From my own experience, I do not find ATI 2019 any more complicated that the earlier versions of ATI such as 2015 etc, but this will obviously depend on what exactly you were trying to do, and how you were doing it?

We would be happy to work with you to help your understanding of recovering your backup to the external HDD but will need more information from you.  Screen shots of the panels you are seeing and details of the options being taken are always good to see.
