new Samsung NVMe driver 3.1 - now (officially) compatible with Windows 1809

Thread needs solution

Hi there I know this is an Acronis forum but concerning the official documentation of Samsung Version 3.0 was not yet compatible with Windows 10 1809. That is an example of how not to adopt SaaS quickly.

I've had no apparent issues with driver 3.0 but formally it is not compatible. There were some Samsung NVMe related issues reporting in the Reliability history and I hope they will be gone. Nothing that I noticed in real use.

So it might be time to Update your system or Acronis WinPE image with a new driver- that's why I am posting here.

Have a working backup before :)

Thanks Karl,

I never had any issue with the 3.0 driver, upgraded to 3.1 a couple of days ago and no problems with it either so far.

Did get a slight performance increase with it too.

Thanks Karl. I have not noticed any issues (but hard to say as I had BIOS/UEFI problem which I fixed yesterday by reinstallation).
