Option to hide Acronis Secure Zone
Is there an option to hide Acronis Secure Zone in Windows Explorer?

I have two Windows 10 64-bit systems. I have installed Acronis True Image 2019 on one system and also created a bootable USB. I booted my second system with Acronis bootable USB and created an Acronis Secure Zone on this system. Then, I made a backup of my system and saved it into Acronis Secure Zone. After that I started my system. There was a shortcut into Windows Explorer that has no name and was not there before I created Acronis Secure Zone. Acronis True Image 2019 is not installed on this system.
I was able to trace this shortcut in Windows registry. I deleted the registry key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{C539A15C-3AF9-4c92-B771-50CB78F5C751} and the shortcut was gone from Windows Explorer. I booted my system again with Acronis bootable USB to test if that shortcut gets created again and after restarting computer, the shortcut was there again. I think this behavior should be changed.

Saad, you will need to open a Support Case direct with Acronis if you are wanting to see any change in the application behaviour or design. ASZ is working as intended and uses a modified FAT32 type partition for storing backup images.
Personally, I stopped using ASZ many years ago as find it much easier to just create my own NTFS partition for my own backups, then be able to manage the same without any of the issues that I saw in using ASZ. With this approach, I could very easily remove the drive letter for my NTFS partition using Windows Disk Management to make the partition hidden from normal Windows use but still be found when using the boot media.
