PC crashes and reboots during Acronis True Image 2019 backup
Once I rebooted, Acronis continued the backup. This is a 4 TB Disk backup and takes 3 days. Can anyone advise if the Acronis backup continues where it was during the crash or restarts from the beginning?
Much appreciated.

Thanks.
I was hoping otherwise as this is a 9 TB backup and had been going for several days. Backup goes to a Synology RAID system on the local network but a longer power outage caused connectivity issues and the backup "gave up" and quit.

I initiated a restart backup. The original was a full backup that was interrupted. The restart has begun an Incremental. Hopefully the end result is a complete "consistent" backup job. I may try to run a validate afterwards to be sure.
Thanks,

I would definitely recommend doing a validation for your very large backup image files on the NAS but please understand that this too can take significant time to complete as ATI has to read through the .tib file contents to recalculate checksum values and compare these with checksum data embedded within the file itself, so there is going to be a lot of data read from the NAS by the computer doing the validation.
