Problems since lateset Win 10 update

Thread needs solution

Hi, first post . :)

After the Win 10 update last week I seem to have two minor problems with Acronis True Image 2019. Firstly after PC boot up I get a pop up warning that Acronis Scheduler Service is not running. I then open the Acronis CP and select My Account which then appears to start the Scheduler Service automatically. At the same time if I select 'Active Protection' in my CP it warns that Active Protection is switched off then it switches on without any further input from me.

This has only started since the Win 10 update.

Jim, I have been running ATI 2019 with no problems on my Windows 10 1809 computer so this issue may have been triggered by the 1809 Update (which Microsoft have now stopped shipping due to other serious data loss issues!) or perhaps ATI 2019 has been corrupted in some way.

I would suggest doing a Repair install of ATI 2019 by downloading the latest full installer from your Acronis account - this should be for build 14110 which support Windows 10 1809, then install over the top of what is already there without uninstalling which will give a Repair option.

Thanks for your swift reply Steve, I am now in the middle of implementing your advice. Will update thread as soon as I have tested it out.

Jim.

EDIT. Just rebooted after reinstall/repair and this time I didn't get the pop up warning about the Scheduler Service. :)

Will keep an eye on things and report back if I have any other problems.
