Recover fails using True Image 2019
I had a system crash and had to reinstall windows. I am trying to restore files from a NAS but keep getting this error. Any suggestions

Neville, any recovery that involves restoring the OS partition & contents should always be performed when using the Acronis Rescue Media to boot the system.
If you start such a recovery from within Windows 10, then after selecting what you want to recover and where to etc, ATI will require a restart to boot into a temporary Linux based environment to continue the recovery action.
The issue with that restart is that the connection to the NAS will be lost and will need to be re-established plus your PC may not be allowed to boot using Linux depending on your BIOS settings etc.
If you haven't already created the Acronis Rescue Media for ATI 2019, then I would strongly recommend doing so, then further identify how your laptop boots into Windows 10, i.e. is this a Legacy / MBR system or is it a UEFI / GPT one? This is vital for a successful recovery as the rescue media needs to boot using the same boot mode (Legacy or UEFI).
Testing the rescue media should be done next to check that you can access your network and 'see' the NAS where your backup file is stored. This normally will require a cabled network connection due to very poor wireless support in the rescue media!
Looking at your log would suggest that the windows restart was cancelled and thus the recovery process was also cancelled.

Just to explain more, I have reformatted the drive, loaded Windows, and want to restore my documents. I backed up both an image and the documents folder. Just want to restore documents.

Neville, if you just want to recover your documents folder, then perhaps the easiest way is to open your .tib file for your backup in Explorer by double-clicking on it, then using normal copy & paste actions to put your folder / documents where you want them.
This assumes that you have ATI installed for the shell integration with Explorer, which I believe is the case.
If your documents folder is very large or deeply nested, then this can be slower when copying or navigating the structure from the NAS.
The alternative approach is to use the option to 'Add existing backup' in the ATI GUI (click on the caret to the right of the Add backup option), then select your backup image file (latest file) from your NAS. You should then be able to open the Recovey tab for that added task and just do a Files / Folders recovery of the items you want.

Tried to open in explorer but it just hangs and never opens. I have both a backup of documents and an image file but both fail to open.
Tried again in Acronis and still get an error that Recovery completed with errors. Maybe I will try the latest Acronis and see what happens..

Neville, do you have the option of connecting directly to your NAS via USB, or else to copy the .tib files from the NAS to a USB 3.x external drive that you could connect directly to your computer to attempt the recovery?
