Restoring *.tib files from Explorer easier?

Thread needs solution

Is there an easier way to restore a single or a few files from *.tib files from Explorer?

What I am doing is : Double-click the corresponding .tib file, and then browse to the file or folder that you want to recover.

When this file is on the desktop or hidden in 6th, 7th sub-folder, this means 6, 7, 8 double clicks every time.

Example: As a test run I made a backup of folder with a few files sitting on my desktop (win10). When restoring a file from this folder :

-I double click on *.tib,

-then again on open tib,

-then C,

-Users,

-My user name,

-One drive ( why this as my backup is saved on local USB drive not in the cloud??),

-Desktop,

-and finaly the requested folder.

This is 8x double clicks!?

Surely there must be easier way?

Emil, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry, but this is the way Explorer works when navigating through a structure of nested folders and files.

Agree with Steve - we can't change the behavior of navigating the file structure in Windows.

However, if you know of a specific file (or files and/or folders), you can use the Acronis Gui and search for it in the recovery tab there as an alternative.
