Scheduler service is stopped

Thread needs solution

I've got an ATI icon that says "Scheduler service is stopped" when I hover over it.  I hide ATI icons so I don't know how long it's been there.

Two scheduled backups ran earlier today with no trouble and I just now successfully manually started a backup.  (In the past manually started backups required the scheduler to be running.  I assume that's still true.)

Anybody have any idea why I have this icon?  Would there be something in one of the ATI logs that might give a clue?

No idea.  That should be the Acronis Scheduler2 Service in computer management.  Check to see if the status is indeed stopped or running.  If it's running, you're probably OK, but keep an eye on your next scheduled backup(s) to be sure.

I manually just stopped scheduler2 and didn't receive a warning or notification from the app when it was turned off.  I opened up the GUI just before 8:00PM to see if it would warn it wasn't running, and it did not.  I had a scheduled backup set to run at 8:00PM with it disabled and of course, it didn't run.

I then manually attempted to run the backup and it prompted that the scheduler service was being enabled and then it started to run.

Checked the services again and it was not showing that it was running, but refreshed the view and it was.
