Support for current chipsets

Thread needs solution

My employer bought recently a lot of brand new laptops. Being one of IT department employees, I started working on installation. Actually - it would be easier to install one and make a disk image. Before I will ask for a purchase of imaging software, I needed to be sure if it will work. And so I did with recent TI2019. It appears that - even if laptops are not brand new (on sale since spring of 2018), and they are not "exotic" (popular DELL models: Latitude & Precision), newest TI is not working with them at all. I tried creating a bootable media. Linux based is not recognizing internal SSD disk at all (M.2 NVME, chipset C246). WinPE based media end up with blue screen. Even if I added later custom NVME drivers to bootable dongle. Are there any plans to support this (from what I know rather popular) configuration?

Vojtek, welcome to these public User Forums.

You would need to create the Windows PE version of the Acronis Rescue Media for better support of NVMe M.2 drives, plus you may also need to have support for Intel RAID included in the media.

If you are looking to deploy a large number of laptops then you should consider using the Acronis Snap Deploy business product which is designed for that purpose, rather than using Acronis True Image which is more intended for home users and small businesses.
