TIB file not showing in True Image 2019

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Created a backup of a HDD connected to a HDD duplicator, which was connected to my Laptop.

Laptop: Lenovo P53 with Windows 10 64

I'm trying to image another HDD with the said TIB file.

TIB file is located in a folder on my laptop. It does not show in my available backups list.

I see other available TIB files but not the one I'm trying to use.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Thanks and Regards,
Dan

Daniel, looks like this is your first post, so welcome to the Acronis User Forums.

I an uncertain about the process you used. Is the following a correct summary.

  1. You attached a USB Docking Station/Disk duplicator to you Notebook.
  2. You placed a HDD in the USB Docking Station.
  3. You created a backup of that HDD, with the backup being located on your Notebook.
  4. You removed the HDD from the Docking Station
  5. You placed a different HDD in the Docking Station
  6. You opened ATI but the backup was not listed in the list of backup tasks.

Is my understanding correct?

Ian

I think Daniel this might be as simple as clicking the down-arrow at the bottom where it says Add backup, and then with "Add existing backup" you select the .tib in that folder on yr lappy.

@TomF, yes good idea - does not explain why it is not in the listing if the backup was created on the notebook.

You're right, it does seem that if OP used ATI to "backup the disk connected to the HDD duplicator" that it should have kept track of where it was written. Maybe the HDD Duper has some funky software/driver that confused the issue. Hopefully Daniel is not a "one post wonder" and will return to tell the tale...
