Try & Decide (and others) stopped working
Until yesterday Try & Decide was working perfectly, but for some reason, today it just does not open anymore.
I have already tried to repair the ATI 2019 but nothing has changed.
I restored the full backup of my C: drive but nothing has changed either.
How to solve this?

Now I realized that it was not just Try & Decide that stopped working, but other tools too (none of them open, but they also do not show any error message):
- Acronis DriveCleanser
- Acronis Secure Zone
- Acronis Startup Recovery Manager
- Add New Disk
- Clone Disk
- System Clean-up
- Try & Decide
What is working:
- Acronis System Report
- Bootable Rescue Media Builder
- and the backups...
I reinstalled ATI 2019, I recovered 2 versions of my disk image (including C: and Recovery Partition) but nothing has changed.
What could be?

Ok, that is a big clue to where the problem here may lay!
KB 61624 shows the following common process for all the above features.
trueimagetools.exe | Executes operations listed on Tools&Utilities page: Startup Recovery Manager, Rescue Media Builder, Secure Zone, Boot Sequence Manager, Mount/Unmount Image, Clone Disk, Add New Disk, Convert to/from Windows Backup, Drive Cleanser, File Shredder, System Clean-up, Try & Decide |
This suggests to me that perhaps you have a security program which has decided to block trueimagetools.exe from being able to run?

I have Kaspersky Internet Security, but even closing it, the problem persists...

Have you checked in Windows Task Manager, and is TrueImageTools.exe present / active / running when you are trying to use any of the tools features?
If not, then check the Windows Event Logs to see if this shows the program aborting?

Tag miteinander,

I restarted my Windows 10 x64 in secure mode to avoid any interference of Kaspesky or any other software.
There I tried to start Try & Decide and I got these message error:
Also, I have a second partition with a new Windows 10 installation. There I have ATI 2018 installed. There T&D worked. So it's a problem with my old (and current) Windows 10. But What may be?

If you are starting in Windows Safe Mode then required device drivers & services needed by TND will not be present / active, so the error message is not reliable.
If you are using this computer as a dual-boot system, then my own experience is that TND does not like this type of scenario and when I tried it on my own dual-boot system, I remember needing to recover my main OS partition.
The ATI 2019 User Guide for TND has the following statement on the limitations of its use.
Please be aware that Try&Decide cannot track changes in disk partitions, so you will be unable to use the Try mode for virtual operations with partitions such as resizing partitions or changing their layout. In addition, you must not use the Try&Decide and disk defragmentation or disk error checking utilities at the same time, because this can irreparably corrupt the file system, as well as make the system disk unbootable.
If you had this working on this dual-boot system, then I would suggest opening a Support Case direct with Acronis Support and let them advise you on your specific computer scenario.
