Trying to clone a Sysprep SSD to a new Dell Computer

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am trying to clone an SSD to a new Dell all in one computer and i am getting the attached error.

The SSD is connected via usb drive as attached. I tried both option in the error message and none of them worked.

The reason i want to do this because we have a lot of softwares that we install and it's much easier cloning so i don't have to install over 10 programs from scratch. I appreciate the help.

What am i missing? thanks.

Will, welcome to these public User Forums.

What actual Acronis product are you using here?  Sorry but I don't recognise seeing 'Acronis Bootable Agent' as shown in your screen image, when using Acronis True Image, though it is possible that I have never hit the same combination of actions as you have here?

How exactly are you trying to do the clone here?
What are the sizes of the disk drives involved?
Is the source SSD taken from the same type / model of Dell computer?

Will,

I see you are using the bootable media to run this clone.  It sounds like you want to clone from an SSD attached to the all-in-one via a USB adapter correct?

I would suggest that you should insure that the USB ports on the all-in-one are configured to remain on all the time instead of set to power off after a brief time which is probably the default setting.  That should get you past this error.
