Turning my old drive into extra storage?

Thread needs solution

Hey, I had the couple of issues recently regarding my SSD, but I managed to work past everything and am on it now! Everything seems to be working well and I am quite happy. However, I had a question about my old hard drive. This SSD only has half the space the hard drive has, and I was wondering if I could re-install the hard drive into my extra storage bay and use it as extra space. I am a bit worried about doing this because the video said never to boot with two OS drives. If you have a guide or video you could recommend I would be grateful. Thanks!

Bob,

Once you have booted the new drive in the machine you can safely attach the old one and re-purpose it for storage.

If you would rather not install it internally to do that you could attach it using a USB adapter cable so that you could format the drive thus removing the Windows installation from the drive.  When that is finished then install it internally.
