unable to recover

Thread needs solution

I tried to restore my backup to a replacement hard disk drive. I could not get your recovery program to work. I kept getting message cannot find part 1. The recovery program seems very complicated and much harder to use than when I last needed to use your program in 2007. Then it was, run the recovery program, locate the backup and click on recover. I have had to do a clean install and lost a lot of data. This make me wonder why I bothered to buy your 2019 program for 3 pc’s with lifetime updates when it does not seem to work.

Sorry to read of your issues in recovering your PC but there is too little information provided to help us understand why this might have been?

There have been a great many changes to computers since 2007 which would also have changed the way any recovery operation works since your earlier experiences here.

If you still have your backup archives from prior to doing the clean install of Windows, then it should be possible to help you in recovering data, if you wish to still have help?

What version of Windows do you have here?

What type of PC is involved?  Desktop / tower PC or a Laptop / Notebook one?

Have you reinstalled ATI 2019 on your PC since doing the new install of Windows?

Have you attempted to do a Validation of your backup files (from before)?
