User Experience and "buggyness" of ATI 2019 ?

Thread needs solution

Hello all,

currently I am user of ATI 2015. My first version was ATI 8, and therefor I know that the user experience and bug degrade ATI from version to version, and so my last decision was to stick with this version as long as possible.
So I would like to ask the community how things are with ATI 2019 (especially with regard to 2015). Has it become worse (like always) or would you recommend to switch?

Kind regards,

Thorsten

Thorsten, personally I like ATI 2019 and find it as good as any of the previous versions of ATI that I have used.  It is (very) different to your ATI 2015 in terms of look, feel and features, but still retains all the same core functions along with bring new functions to the application.

I would recommend giving ATI 2019 a 30-day trial to see for yourself but ask that you be prepared to take time to get used to the GUI changes which will feel strange to start with.

You should either make a full backup using 2015 first, or be prepared to uninstall 2015 (save your C:\ProgramData\Acronis folders to bring back later if reinstalling!).  It is recommended to uninstall any version of ATI prior to 2017 when installing 2019.  The alternative would be to run the trial of 2019 on another computer if you have such available.

If you are considering buying ATI 2019 then see the Current Promo KB which shows that the current Christmas discount offers will end on January 10th in 5 days time.

After installing Survival Kit I was able to boot and perform a bare metal restore with no problems. MSR partition is still restored first instead of its' proper location. Other than those two problems I'm satisfied with the performance. There have been a lot of improvements since 2015.
