Western Digital Acronis

Thread solved

Western Digital bundles a WD-specific version of Acronis with its SSDs. I am wondering:

1.  Is there any functionality in this bundle that licensed Acronis users lack and require (such as ability to initialize disks that Disk Management fails to initialize)?

2.  Can the WD version be installed and operated cooperatively with the regular licensed versions, without adverse consequence?

Mike, all OEM versions of Acronis True Image are feature limited and require that a drive of the OEM make can be detected in order for the application to be launched / used.

The full versions of ATI do not have such limitations.

Only one version of ATI can be installed - trying to install any other version, OEM or not, would overwrite the existing version as all the same program folders are used.
Note: the new Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office has changed its program folders to reflect the rebranding of the name (from ATI 2022 to ACPHO) but other folders remain the same so again cannot co-exist with an older ATI version.
