Windows 11 Explorer Problems

Thread needs solution

Every couple of minutes, Windows 11 Explorer pops up a list of files on the external drive to which I send my True Image 2019 backup.  While Windows is seemingly putting this list together, the system freezes.  Sometimes, the Explorer window doesn't even display, but I can see, via the indicator lights on the external drive, that it's being queeried.  Is this the result of one of the man, manyy background processes that True Image 2019 causes to execute at startup, and If so, how can I stop this behavior?

Gerald, welcome to these public User Forums.

There should be no Acronis 2019 processes that will cause Windows Explorer to open by itself and I have never seen such behaviour on any of my own systems, nor seen such reported here in the forums as far as I can remember.
