WTF did Acronis add (*.HT.HOME to my NAS path)

Thread needs solution

I don't check my backups that often. But I did today.

At the end of May was my last successful backup.

After investigating, it appears that Acronis added *.HT.HOME to my NAS path.

Instead of my NAS path being \\Storage\Backup

Acronis changed it to \\Storage.ht.home\Backup

The revised path doesn't work.

I can't edit the script, because the first thing Acronis wants is for me to log in to the NAS.

Any hints on how to fix this problem. I leave for holidays tomorrow, and I kinda want my laptop backed up before I go.

Hello Roy.

The agent shouldn't change the path. That is entered by the user.

To resolve this problem, I recommend the following steps:

  1. Check the network connectivity: Ensure that your NAS is properly connected to the network and accessible from the machine where Acronis is running.

  2. Verify NAS credentials: Double-check that the login credentials for your NAS are correct within the Acronis settings. If they have changed or need updating, you can modify them accordingly.

  3. Create a new plan and run the backup instead of editing.

Thanks in advance!

Never seen anything like this. What sort of NAS are you using?
