$12 Upgrade to True Image 2020

Thread needs solution

Received an email this morning from noreply@sender.acronis.online with subject of "Best price of the year on Acronis True Image" with an offer to upgrade for $12.

Is this a legitimate offer from Acronis? The first page of the email is attached.

Thanks -- Steve

Steve, sorry but your PDF document doesn't include any web hyperlinks to show where any of the links might be pointing to so can only make a guess based on the content shown which looks like a genuine link (but as do many phishing mails!).

The other question here is what is being offered for $12 upgrade price?  The reference to Cyber in the mail may suggest that this is for Acronis Cyber Backup (business product) rather than for True Image?

Go to your local Acronis.com webpage and look at the offers shown there for a guaranteed page showing information on upgrades etc.

Yes, sender.acronis.online is valid.  I have bought thru it in 2019 and 2021.  It leads to store.acronis.com where you pay for the purchase.  Then you get a Cleverbridge Reference number.  Cleverbridge fulfills orders for a lot of software companies.  After several hours you get the download link and license key via email.  The reason it was $12 back then was because it was a newly released product (i.e. still buggy) and companies frequently offer their best price to existing customers on launch and possibly a little better a month after the first launch price expires.  Then you have to wait for it to be near end of life for another discount.
