Acronis 2020 Backup fails HP Probook GS450 with real errors and Notebook restartswith error screen.

Thread needs solution

With Acronis 2020 i can not Backup my HP PROBOOK GS450 any more. I get several sector real errors. Chkdsk does not find errors. When ignoring the errors after a while the notebook gets a critical error stating the stop of a critical process and restarts.

Seams that snapshot of backup files generates the errors.

Is there a known Problem with HP Probooks?

Can anyone Held me to get the backup run again?

Detmar, if you are being told that there are 'sector read errors' then this is telling you that your disk drive has a problem.  CHKDSK will only work against drives / partitions with an assigned drive letter, i.e. C: for the OS drive, but all computers will have other partitions which are hidden / system ones without an assigned drive letter where such errors can come from.
