Acronis 2020 deletes all file on my network drive H:

Thread needs solution

I have a network drive connected to H:, when I click to update my Survival Kit it deletes all of the files on that drive.

Fortunately I back that drive up even though it is RAID. A backup program really shouldn't delete user's files.

Martin, welcome to these public User Forums.

I cannot think of any reason why you should be creating or updating a Survival Kit on a network drive, as the purpose of this type of drive is to be able to boot your PC from it?

I also do not believe that the Survival Kit process is intended to be used with RAID drives!

The option to create a Survival Kit is only offered when you are creating a new Disks & Partitions (or Entire PC) type backup task and are setting the Destination for the task to a suitable external USB drive that can be used for this purpose.
See KB 61639: Acronis True Image: how to create Acronis Survival Kit - for more information on the process.
