Acronis 2020 / No backup possible on network storage

Hi,

 

I get an error message when trying first time to backing up the system drive (C:) to a network storage using Acronis true image 2020.

The backup process is newly created, the connection to the network drive is tested successfully, but when starting the backup task, Acronis prompts with the following message:

Martin, sorry but more information is needed to try to understand this issue?

Is the network storage location on your local network, i.e. on the same network as your PC?

What does the ti_demon and backup_worker logs show for this backup task?

If you need help to understand the logs, then please put them in a zip file to keep their original file names then upload to this forum topic.

Martin, if your update in this topic here is correct, then that is probably the reason for the error you are seeing!
