Acronis Active Protection Flags Ransomware but...

I've just received a warning from Acronis Active Protection(AAP):
Regarding ransomware detected. 15 files, all icon.db files. Chose restore from backups and it restored 12 of 15 files affected. This all happened when trying to save a 3D file created in Wings 3D (just downloaded the program version 2.2.6.1) indicated the file erl.exe was the culprit. Using ransomware detector from Bit Defender comes up with system is clean. Scanning the remaining 3 files directly with Bit Defender says they are each clean. 
Not sure where to go from here. Possible false positive from AAP???
