Acronis Cloud Storage: 30 day trial

Thread needs solution

Hi. I am assuming that when my 30 day trial of Acronis Cloud Storage ends, that I will not be automatically placed onto a paid subscription.  That the trial will finish and that will end any kind of subscription. Also, I am assuming that any kind of trial works the same way, it just ends without becoming (automatically) a paid subscription. Can someone please confirm my assumtions? Thank you. Richard

Richard, what version and license for ATI do you have here?

If you have a perpetual license for ATI 2020 as suggested by your signature, then unless you have been required to provide payment details for your Cloud trial, there should be no automatic subscription etc when the trial ends and you should just get warnings that the cloud data will be deleted after a further period if you do not take a subscription to continue it.

See KB 65511: Acronis True Image 2021 licensing

KB 62179: How to change payment information for subscription - which includes options to cancel automatic renewal.

KB 60194: Acronis True Image Essential, Advanced and Premium: how to manage subscription licenses for other information around this topic.

Hi. I confirm I do have a perpetual licence for ATI 2020. I have not been requested for any payment details. Not sure whether my payment details are kept by Acronis. Also, the fact that there is no way to cancel the trial strongly suggests no automatic subscription after the trial period. So, my situation appears clear.  I am relying on the information provided.  Thanks. Richard

Richard, in the unlikely event that they do invoice you for cloud storage, the advice email will provide a link allowing you to cancel the service. In my experience the refund comes through almost immediately.
