Acronis recovery media doesn't see internal storage media
System: New Dell Inspiron 5593 with UEFI BIOS (version 1.2.0), secure boot enabled in Deployed mode, 1x M.2 PCIe SSD-0 on SATA-2 1TB PC601 NVMe SK hynix drive with 2 partitions (C:\ & D:\)
Please note: This drive has been set as a RAID/SATA configuration from the factory, instead of AHCI/SATA!
OS: Win 10 Enterprise v1909 latest stable build, 64bit
Acronis version 2020 update 2
Problem:
Acronis recovery media on USB doesn't detect any internal drive media / partitions for backup or recovery. Same issue when trying via F11 key (Acronis setup recovery manager).
Creating backups (& restoring same) through Acronis running under the OS works fine.
Questions:
1) How can I resolve the issue that the recovery media cannot see the internal partitions on the M.2 PCIe SSD?
2) Is this an issue due to the UEFI BIOS?
3) Would changing the SATA drive operation to AHCI/SATA resolve the problem? I haven't tried this due to the risk of the OS installation becoming corrupt when changing from RAID to AHCI.
All help and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks and cheers
