Acronis tru copy ( provided by Crucial) is failing to make exact clone

Thread needs solution

Trying to swap to a SSD card.... running True copy provided by Crucial  ... clone runs properly,,,no errors or issues. When i try to start up  " quickbooks pro 2010'  it fails saying  key has been corrupted... install cd

when running on original drive...quickbooks starts and runs no problems

I have uninstalled  acronis,,,, updated the bios,,, reinstalled,,,re cloned....  still same issue

Can't contact Acronis support as you need a registration number...of which there is none

Any help would be appreciated

Tom, welcome to these public User Forums.

Please see KB 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which applies to all OEM versions of ATI supplied with hardware purchases.

If your cloned SSD is booting correctly into Windows and you removed the original drive before doing so, then the issue here is with how QuickBooks deals with activation / registration keys and where it stores these on the drive.
