Acronis True Image 2020 isn't allowing me to go from 1TB to 2TB SSD
I have a 1 TB SSD and I want to migrate to a 2 TB SSD. I've tried cloning and restoring from a backup. I've tried using Acronis from within Windows and I've tried using the bootable disk. In each instance, the result is creating a space equal to the 1 TB disk and the rest being unallocated space. When I restore from a backup, it restores, but only an equal size with the remaining portion unallocated. If I try to clone (manually), before it starts, there is a red x in the portion that will be cloned on the destination disk and the rest is unallocated. I JUST started with a fresh install of Windows 11 pro, 64 bit. So the source drive is brand new. I just want a bigger drive, but all of my efforts have been unsuccessful. What am I missing?

Jose, welcome to these public User Forums.
This is a known behaviour with Acronis True Image and looks to be caused because a Windows Recovery Partition is encountered that is not being moved to the end of the available free space on the new larger drive.
The good news is that this is very easy to resolve without having to keep retrying different options for either cloning or backup / recovery.
Download a copy of the free MiniTool Partition Wizard software and use this to move the Recovery partition to the end of the larger drive, then resize the Windows C: OS partition to take advantage of the available free space on the drive before the Recovery partition.
