Acronis True Image 2020 - TIB file to Azure VM

Thread needs solution

I am just an end user, but Microsoft is running an Azure promotion that I think includes Cloud VM for 1 year, plus $200 credit. I am replacing a PC, and I usually take a TIB backup, and in the past did a P2V Vmware VM, such that I could easily startup the original PC image and get something off of it. I am trying to modernize, using a TIB backup, can I convert it to an Azure VM and access VM in the cloud for the short period I might need to look for something? Thanks, any ideas. Peter

Peter, welcome to these public User Forums.

ATI (all versions) can only make backups to the Acronis Cloud servers or else to local drives or network locations.  There are no options to use third-party cloud solutions unless you make the backup to a local drive which is then synced to that cloud service.

Converting into virtual machine formats is pretty restricted as well with just some options to convert older .tib format images to VHD only.  This is not available in ATI 2020 to convert the new .tibx format images.
