activity blank
This issue https://kb.acronis.com/content/60683 where the activity and restore tabs are blank still appears to be present in my 2020 version...
I applied the workaround and the activity tab is now populated but the restore tab is still blank
the backup file IS present

Sorry David, the above has worked for myself and other users previously.
Try the actions described in KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings which should help resolve this issue.

same as before, the recovery tab states there is no data to recover....the backup is however there
Added to this, when this happens I noticed the PC does not return to sleep and remains on all night....for the last couple of days the tabs have been populated and sleep worked OK, this morning they weren't and it was on all night....whether it's connected I don't know but I also noticed the power button takes 2 presses before sleeping it whereas for the last couple of days it has only needed one press.....I have noticed this before too

David, out of interest have you done a full restart of this computer to see if the information gets shown correctly again?
I have only seen this behaviour for myself after the issue with backup settings being reset and only for a single task where just adding back the existing latest backup file solved the issue & it hasn't come back again since for me.

re-started and it's no different
the log file suggests that it completed successfully and, as mentioned the backup IS there
It backs up after the C drive which all looks fine

....having re-tried TI2020 the issue is again present...backup file is there but the summary and recovery tabs are completely blank
Active protection is off as it's not needed(I use Bitdefender)

David, this is a known issue that can be resolved very easily by using the 'Add existing backup' option and selecting one of your backup files from your backup drive, this will cause the Recovery & Activity pages in the main ATI GUI to be correctly shown.

Thanks Steve, that did indeed work......but surely over 6 months in to TI2020 they should have corrected the issue along with the backup time problems......

David, this is one of those intermittent problems that isn't easily recreatable as far as I understand. I have seen it just once on one of my computers and it hasn't repeated since. I guess we are all waiting on Acronis to produce a new update build to see what they say has been fixed it that!
