Activity tab grayed out on "My files" backup to cloud

Thread needs solution

I have a "My files" backup job set to run nonstop to the cloud. The Activity tab of the job is grayed out, preventing me from seeing what I assume would be the history of the job.

The job has a password. I click on the source as if I'm going to change it, and enter my password. I still can't find a way to get to the Activity tab.

I suspect that you may not be able to get the activity history back. Under some circumstances when installing ATI 2020 the activity history is lost. However, I do not recall that happening with cloud backups.

Just checked and I lost the activity history for files and folders backup to the Cloud; activity since installing 2020 public release is there, but not that for activity during beta testing or ATI 2019. Also, for some ordinary cloud backups history is empty (have not run them since start of ATI 2020 beta testing).

The good news is that the backup itself should be OK. In my case they appear to be.

Edit: I uninstalled 2020 beta and did a clean installation, then retrieved by backup settings which I save immediately before uninstall the 2020 beta. This may be a bit different if you install 2020 over and existing installation. This behaviour is I think something introduced in the release version of 2020

I have a "My files" backup job set to run nonstop to the cloud. The Activity tab of the job is grayed out, preventing me from seeing what I assume would be the history of the job.

I believe that this is a limitation of having a Non Stop Backup task.

Normal Disk & Partition / Files & Folders backups to the Acronis Cloud do show the Activity page information.  With a NSB task, this page would be filling up endlessly due to the nature of the backup task which runs every few minutes!

I am a new user of ATI 2020, so these are brand new jobs. I am not complaining about losing activity from a nonstop backup. It's that I can't see any activity at all. I don't think I agree with the gentleman who suggested it may be by design--if that were the case, why is there a grayed out Activity tab?

Good question; I cannot remember if Activity is always blocked out. Unfortunately my nonstop backup was corrupted some how about the time I installed release version of ATI 2020.

I created a NSB backup of a single folder to the Acronis Cloud and the Activity tab is greyed out for this type of task.

The only option button shown is to [Suspend] the task which would need to be clicked when there is no backup activity happening, i.e. NSB checks every 5 minutes for changes to the defined source data.  When any backup is running, the button changes to [Pause] and changes to [Resume] if clicked from either state.

Suspending or Pausing the NSB task does not offer an Options button which looks to be in line with other reports seen for tasks using the new version 3 file format in ATI 2020 that cannot be changed after creation. Note: the script file for the task confirms it is using the new .tibx file format to the cloud.

The only task options available for a NSB task are the 3 shown in the image below:

If email notifications are configured for the NSB task, then the level of Activity will be seen in the regular emails being received by the target account (which would probably wear very thin very quickly!) and hence why the Activity tab is greyed out as not applicable to this type of task activity.

The task also runs after any pause or suspend actions, hence the intervals above are not always exactly 5 minutes apart!

All the above activity is for a folder with no changes occurring!
