ATI 2020 Backup Plan Missing Some Drop-Down Menu Items
I have 3 backup plans for backing up to 3 different external USB disk drives. Backup plans 1 and 2 have drop-down menus items of Validate, Clean up versions, Clone settings, Delete, Open location and Search files. Backup plan 3 has only Clone settings and Delete. For backup plan 3, where are the other drop-down menu items? Shouldn't all the backup plans have the same drop-down menu items?

All 3 backup plans are custom-full entire PC. They were all created the same with only the destination being different. They were NOT cloned and modified but created individually. I deleted and re-entered the backup plan in question and have the same thing,

What is the destination of the problem backup task that only shows the 2 options?
What does the Activity page show for that backup task?
If you are only seeing Clone settings and Delete - then that suggests that the task hasn't been run yet to create a backup image?

to add, maybe the destination is not online (at least when there are backups on it).

There are mulitple full backups on all 3 external USB disk drives created by ATI 2020 using 3 different backup plans. I have 3 different backup plans because each external USB disk drive has a unique drive letter. It does not matter if the external USB disk drives are connected or not. The activity log just says "Successfully backed up" and Backup was "successfully validated". The only difference is the 2 that have the full drop-down menus are 4GB external USB disk drives and the one that does not is a 1GB external USB disk drive.

Dale, this is an interesting observation. Is there a difference in the file system? (FAT32 vs NTFS)?
Anyway, I suggest using the Feedback feature to let Acronis know of this and see if there is some reason.

All 3 external USB disk drives are formatted NTFS and using BitLocker. I will use the feedback feature to let Acronis know of this.

It sure sounds like the difference relates to the backup files on the !GB destination drive and ATI's ability to see the files on the drive. What happens when you access the drive using Windows' File Explorer? Can you do a Validate from there?

Just to confirm, for some reason some backups are not properly incorporated into the data base - right clicking only gives clone and delete. You need to select the backup in Explorer, right click, select Acronis than Validate.
This problem was introduced in release version, was not present in either of the beta versions.

Dale, could you also include screenshots of backup plans with the menus to the feedback?
We have not received any feedback about issues with menu so we would like to check it out.

Ian, these seem to be unrelated issues. For the options in the settings menu - seems like something went wrong with the installation as the settings part rarely changes from backup to backup.
and the lack of manual cleanup option is currently a default behavior for added and unreconfigured .tibx backups, we are working on doing something with it.
but Dale says he has all three backups configured and working but having different menu items.

Yes, somewhat different. My recollection is that I had the problem for ALL my local backups which were imported when I retrieved my settings. This was under the initial release version.

All 3 external USB disk drives are formatted NTFS and using BitLocker.
Is BitLocker unlocked when this issue with the missing options is seen?
