ATI 2020 Fails backup, partly completed
Just upgraded to ATI 2020. I was attempting to create a hard drive backup to an external USB 3.0 Detachable drive (Thermalrake Black X chassis, WD Caviar Black 3TB hard drive).. Acroniss was able to create only about 700 GB out of the 1.5 TB that was required. This morning I came in to check on the progress and received an error that states that the backup has failed. "Ensure that the destination drive (with my drive path being listed) is accessible." I already turned off USB selective suspend setting in the power setting options. Very frustrating. I was able to perform a system image yesterday using Windows 10. I'm not sure what's going on now, all suggestions are welcome. Seems to be that I am trying to do a very simple task. File explorer does see my hard drive and I was able to check how much was recorded.

More information on the error would be helpful. Failed can be any number of things.

OK, repeated the same process after a restart. Set the hard drive in advanced power settings to 9999999 minutes to turn off. Fully backed up now and just waiting on validation to complete. Also USB suspend was disabled. Acronis seems to be sensitive to the power setting in Windows 10. But so far so good. Running the latest build (21400). With regards to the error not much more to say then after about 700gb of a backup Acronis stopped recognizing the destination drive. This is even though it is completely visible and functional through file explorer. Not sure if the prior error was based on not having the latest build. I am on the trial version now and pretty sure the original installation was the latest build. I have used ATI 2014 and 2018 in the past.

This sure sounds like the problem that was fixed in the 21400 build.
