ATI 2020 Rescue media for Windows 7

Thread needs solution

Im running ATI2020 at a W10 workstation: Rescue media DVD starts up correct
But on 2 workstations W7 it does not start the rescue application.
The DVD and USB does: load windows files: progress bar finishes. After this start up, Windows should start. But the graphics progress bar keeps on cycling.. even waiting 2 hours.
Key pressed don't help..
I made a DVD and a USB on both workstations. All start up, but hangup.
I use the simple methode.
The builder builds a WinRE.
So, Can anybody help What and how I can get this fixed?
For example should I add files to the builder with the advanced option?

If you Win 7 workstations are older PC's I would try using the Linux version of the media on them to see if the problem persists.  In the Media Builder tool select the Advanced option, then the Linux media option to do this.

I build a rescue on each PC, So I have now 1 working rescue DVD for W10.   But the two for my W7 they hangup.

These are:  HP XW8600, and Z800.

I tried the Linux rescue.  this one starts up.  Starts ATI..  I can brows to my images:  (*.tibx)

I have none experience with Linux.  Does this matter for a rescue of my system image?  Will it still run  Windows..

A read that an old ATI 2020 build, makes a working WinPE rescue.  Seems ATI has upgraded something, as result WinPE is not working on old PC's...

Marien, if the Linux version of the rescue media works for you on your Win 7 machines, then the OS being used really doesn't matter.

Use the MVP Tool to build WinRE media on the Windows 7 machines. it will work.

Concur with Mustang on this.  The Linux version should work fine for you but if you are more comfortable with a Win version use the MVP tool to create such media.
